It's ALMOST Christmas!!

And the girls are counting down the minutes until SANTA comes.  And they are watching their elf, Fred move around the house daily.  Cookies are baked for Santa.  The Christmas music keeps playing and the fireplace is a burning.  Last night, we shared the evening with the Vail's/Lux's and all of the kiddos got to open presents.
Today is Christmas Eve and Isabella and I took a trip to QuickCare since the doctor's office was closed.  After waiting over 3 hours, we got in to the see the doctor and he pulled a huge clump of wax out of Isabella's ear, told me it was infected and sent us home with some amoxicillian. I looked at the calendar when I got home, and to the mark - it has been exactly 1 month since she was sick with 105 fever for almost the entire week.  This weather is so bizarre.
Here are a few pictures from last night - the boys enjoying their "special" brew, cousins and so much more.

May you all have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.  May Santa bring you lots of goodies!  We are sending lots of hugs and kisses your way!  We are super excited to see Isabella's and Giselle's cheer, as they are at such a FUN AGE : )  XOXOXOOXXOXOX

Isabella's Very First Musical

It's not even Christmas yet, but what a present we received when we got to attend Isabella's very FIRST Christmas musical on Monday, December 3, 2012. We couldn't be more proud of Isabella and her class.  They worked so hard for two months to be able to pull off such a stellar performance!  And what a performance for a group of 3 and 4 year olds.

It was pure entertainment while they all sang us 7 songs and even had props!
I couldn't get over how Isabella was across the room from us and she was GLOWING the entire time...and....she didn't take her eyes off mommy, daddy, and baby g the entire musical.  This girl GLOWS when it is time to be joyous.  Each time she finished, Baby G was jumping up and down with a big SMILE... clapping, screaming....GO BELLA!!

FIRST DAY of School Photos

I am surrounded by empty nesters.  For now, I am still celebrating the firsts.  There are always firsts in life...right? I have never been ...
