Such an AWESOME 2011

As we get ready to welcome in 2012, we have so many things to be thankful for in 2011. Two beautiful, healthy girls. A plump dog named Baxter Allen. Two sets of healthy, happy parents who continue to teach us day in and day out. Unconditional LOVE from parents, brother in laws, sisters, nieces, nephews, and doggies. Great friends who are truly friends. We both still have our jobs in such a tough economy. We work hard, play hard.
At the end of each day, we can all LAUGH and SMILE. Even through the challenges. Life is GRAND! And we can't take it for granted. Not a second. CHEERS to ALL OF YOU. Happy New Year! Time to ROCK it OUT and Make it ANOTHER GRAND year in 2012. LOVE YOU ALL. XOXOXOXO

Sunday Funday's

Most Sunday's in our household are GO BEAR's!!! Or sports of some sort. I never really understood how much of a sports fan my husband was until we got married. We get up, do a few things in the morning and then it is BEARS time. Everyone dresses in their Bears gear and out come the appetizers and wings! Waaa hoooo!! At first, I fought it. But now I have come accustomed to watching sports on Sunday and making some yummy eats! Here are a few pictures I captured of our Sunday Funday. Bears game on the couch, then playing outside with the John Deere tractor and two sisters loving up on one another!

Merry Christmas

from Isabella, Giselle, Baxter, Bob and Sandy! Today, we ventured off to Petco for a picture with Santa. We got there, dressed in all of our Christmas gear and everyone was looking at us like we were crazy. Bob said, "Sandy, where are the photos with Santa at?" I said, they have to be around here somewhere! So I stopped an employee of the store and she said we are NOT DOING photos with Santa. Rats... I meant well. WHOOPSIES...
So off to PetSmart we went. I knew it was Pet something because I had called earlier in the week after my sister asked me if we were going to see Santa (whew! Thanks for the reminder!)......Sure enough, we arrived at PetSmart and it was a madhouse! Everyone and their pets were there to get a photo with Santa.
So while you can't get everyone to look at the camera at the same time, at least we got the Vail crew together for a family photo opp.

FIRST DAY of School Photos

I am surrounded by empty nesters.  For now, I am still celebrating the firsts.  There are always firsts in life...right? I have never been ...
